Right and below: an experimental Shakudo and silver ring. Shakudo is an exotic Japanese alloy comprised of copper and gold bullion. In this instance, the ratio is 4% gold to 96% copper. The ring shank is made of fine silver and the decorative elements on the Shakudo base are a combination of fine silver and Argentium sterling silver.

Right - March 2011 - Earth Goddess Pendant: a large AAA green and gold quartz briolette teamed up with rare grossular garnet briolettes and freshwater pearls all kept together with Argentium sterling silver on a handmade Argentium bail.

Right - bespoke sterling silver pendant set  (December 2010). Far right - fingerprints sealed in resin in a sterling setting. Coming soon: factual ingerprints in fine silver!

 

 

 

 

Right: meet Skully, winner of beadingforum.com.au's Year of Jewellery Tween theme challenge. Skully is made of fine silver. I made this pendant  to prove to myself that I could saw any shape I wanted to!

Right - prototype for the Mother's Day beading project held by myself in the April 2011 holidays for the children at The Beach Indoor Playground to make for their mothers. This example was made out of copper, aventurine, and jasper. 

Below - tags that I prestamped for the children in copper and brass. Unfortunately I didn't have time to photograph the bespoke sterling silver tags I also made for this session ... there was an especially gorgeous oversized heart tag!
